Credits & Refunds Policy

Tournaments:

We issue FULL refunds for NYChessKids Tournaments until Tuesdays, 12 PM before the day of the Tournament. No refunds will be issued after Tuesday, 12 PM. Cancellations, after this day, require a medical documentation in the form of a letter to get a full credit that can be used in any future event.

Camps:

  • One day Camps:

We issue the FULL refund for NYChessKids One Day Camps (Holiday Camps) until seven days before the day of the Camp. Cancellations during the seven days before the date of the Camp will be refunded with a deduction of 25%. Cancellations that happen seven days before the Camp require a medical documentation in the form of a letter to get a full credit that can be used in any future event.

  • Summer Camps:

We issue the FULL refund for NYChessKids Summer Camps until seven days before the WEEK of the Camp. Cancellations during the seven days before the week of the Camp will be refunded with a deduction of 25%. Cancellations that happen seven days before the Camp require a medical documentation in the form of a letter to get a full credit that can be used in any future event.

After School Programs:

Registrations have to be done before entering the program. NYChessKids won’t accept students that are not registered with us. A Full refund will be issued if you decide to cancel up to 2 weeks of the program. After the two weeks, 90% of the payment can be refunded.
